ChatGPT login help
ChatGPT verification code not received?
First identify where the code is supposed to arrive. ChatGPT may ask for an email one-time password, an approval in the mobile app, or phone verification. A different phone number only helps with the last case.
Search ChatGPT servicesShort answer
If the screen says email or OTP, check the account inbox and spam folder. If it says approve this login, open the ChatGPT app on a device that is already signed in. Only use a phone service when the page explicitly asks for a mobile number, SMS or WhatsApp.
Use the message on screen
| Prompt | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Code sent to your email | Inbox, spam folder and mail filtering rules |
| Approve this login | ChatGPT mobile app on an already signed-in device |
| Phone number, SMS or WhatsApp | The phone verification method shown on the page |
If the email code does not work
Use the newest email after requesting another code. Older codes can expire. Sign in with the same method used when the account was created, such as Continue with Google or Continue with Apple, and pause after repeated failed attempts instead of submitting codes continuously.
If a phone number is required
Choose a country supported by the current form. Virtual numbers cost less but may be rejected by stricter checks; a real-card number can be more reliable without guaranteeing approval. Account status, location and device checks still apply.
Questions people ask
Does every ChatGPT login require a foreign phone number?
No. Many login checks use email OTP or approval in the ChatGPT mobile app.
Why is the code from an older email rejected?
After a new request, the earlier one-time code may expire. Use the newest message.
Can a phone number guarantee access?
No. A number can only receive a supported message; account and security checks remain under OpenAI's control.
Use this information only for accounts you own or are authorized to access. POPOsms does not sell ChatGPT accounts or request your password.
